What is the green baby from my understanding

Main Post:

Stone Ocean anime spoilers

So there's a lot of debate here on what exactly he is and I think I pieced it together.

First of all, it's not Dio, although his soul was revived with limp bizkit and taken Dio's bone as his body. The green baby is something new entirely, hence the new stand.

How was he made? He was born from a ritual probably managed by Dio, the plants grew because the requirements were met (Maybe). His soul formed from the souls of 36 sinners, that's what made his stand so powerful, if stand power comes from the soul, then the sinner's souls with strong emotions gave him the power to use him for something greater. Once his soul was born, his body formed by feeding of the nutrients given by the growing plants. Once he's born he crawls aimlessly, like Silver Chariot Requiem, searching for the trusted friend. Then Pucci comes along, following the ritual, he calls his attention by the 14 phrases, he feeds him Dio's bone (It's purpose was sort of like a key to get it to eat him, Dio says to him that "with this you will always have access to my power") and their bodies became one, or you would think, actually it just dies and Pucci is reborn with new power (Both from Dio's soul an the Green Baby's). Why is that? Because since it was a ritual "tool" (And a literal baby) his conciousness wasn't strong enough to beat or coexist with Pucci's so it just fades away. And maybe Pucci got a little of Dio's soul too (I'm anime only plz don't spoil).

In short: What is the green baby? Something new, a key to a great power, Dio's last gift to his friend.

Why go though that? I think it was Dio's emergency plan in case things went south. The whole ritual was elaborated or reaserched by Dio, looking for a way to lend his power even after his death to continue the heaven plan. Although I think the power comes more from the sinners and Dio just helped with the process (He meant to give his power symbolically, he just helped Pucci gain more power).

Things I still don't understand:

  • Why it has the Joestar birthmark? It never shows that the bone touches or interacts with the baby while forming to pass it's joestar dna
  • It is said that the plants were formed because of the bone's stand, but that would be The World since the bone is Dio's soul reborn, so was the ritual triggered by a stand or something else?

Thanks for reading this, there may be holes in my theory and you can fill them if you want or correct me if I got something wrong. Eitger way, I had a lot of fun writing this. I find this part of Stone Ocean fascinating, it's so creative and elaborate, it feels like it's own science, not even in my wildest dreams would I come up with something this creative, we love you Araki.

P.D: I'm anime only so please don't spoil Part 6 manga.

Top Comment: Consider that the Green Baby starts literally eating Pucci. Who's to say it stopped there? Is the Pucci we see afterward transformed, or is that even his body anymore? This is speculation based on stuff that's been shown in the anime btw, don't worry.

What exactly is the green baby?

Main Post:

Okay Guys, I did read stone ocean really long ago so I watch the New episodes and I was wondering. How IS that possible that the green baby have that much abilities?? Is he a zombie (because of sports Max)? A vampire (because of dio)? A Stand (clearly look like one)? A Stand that own a Stand ?? Were the plant ability a stand? And how the hell could I forget all that?

Top Comment: It's made up of souls and DIO's bones. He's a character/ stand user, however, he's the key component in the Heaven Plan and in Pucci's White Snake becoming C-Moon (which of course later becomes Made In Heaven)

What do I name a baby green dragon

Main Post:

In our campaign, my friends and I killed a young green dragon and got its egg. Eventually it hatched and I want to keep it as a pet. What should I name him?

Top Comment: Eventually it hatched and I want to keep it as a pet. A green dragon wyrmilng has an intelligence of 14 so it will probably be snarter then half your party. Further more they are most cunning and treacherous of true dragons. They are manipulazive schemers bend other creatures to its will by assessing and playing off their deepest desires. Any creature foolish enough to attempt to subdue a green dragon eventually realizes that the creature is only pretending to serve while it assesses its would-be master. They also prefer living treasure aka the people they tricked into serving them. So just like with a cat you would be its pet.

Green poop . . . advice please.

Main Post:

I'm a FTM and have been lurking for a while but this is my first post. I am EBF my 6 week old son. For the last week, his poop has been green. It used to be mustard colored. The consistency doesn't seem like it has changed, just the color. He is gaining weight and otherwise seems happy. I haven't changed my diet in the last week. Should I be concerned about green poop? Is it an indication of a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance? Advice/feedback appreciated!

Top Comment:

Any chance he's allergic to something you're eating? That gave us some trouble with green poop for a while. I stopped eating dairy and that fixed it for us. It made his witching hour disappear once the discomfort from that was gone.

Baby has always had dark green poos, any advice?

Main Post:

Baby is 9 weeks old, EFF and has dark green poos. He battles with wind to the point of crying, and we have tried many formulas and his poo has always been green.

It says online this is a sign of digestive distress, anyone have experience with this?

I can hear his tummy gurgling after having formula and he wakes up crying with wind pain from sleep. We have tried many formulas and now on an anti-colic one with low lactose and it's slightly better but not much.

Could he need a soya formula?

Top Comment:

Dark green can also be associated with iron and iron can be rough on the tummy. Not sure the iron content of formula.

8 week old with sudden green poop?

Main Post:

Hi all! My baby has been having yellow bowel movements since a day or two after she came home from the hospital. She’s now 8 weeks old and this evening I noticed she had a mostly yellow diaper but one side of the diaper had a light(ish) green? And there are a few green streaks?

I’ve been having dairy every day, and a pretty similar amount. Today I had an iced coffee, pizza, and whipped cream in my morning coffee. I think that’s it. No ice cream today but I often have some.

The new things I had were eggs, they were over easy, I suppose they were possibly undercooked? I ate the eggs about 16 hours ago...does anyone know how long before something shows up in baby’s diaper? (I’ve had eggs before while nursing, but only twice and they were poached at a restaurant)

Obviously I’ll contact my doctor but I’m hoping it isn’t dairy (would it start suddenly at 8 weeks?) and I’ll feel bad if it’s a foremilk/hindmilk issue too— my LO is a grazer so outside of a few big feedings she does do a lot of small 8 or fewer minute nursing sessions during the day!

Has anyone had this happen?

Thank you!

Top Comment:

Green poop is probably from an abundance of foremilk. This isn't anything to worry about. That's assuming the green poop is the only issue you're having?

If possible, try to get your baby to fully drain your breast, so she can get plenty of the thicker hindmilk. This means longer feeds and not switching breasts during a single feed. Again, this isn't something to worry about. And she gets all the nutrition she needs from the foremilk anyway. But she will get fuller and stay fuller longer if she's also getting the hindmilk. Plus she won't have green poop.

Green poop, and only green poop

Main Post:

Sorry I’m advance if this is TMI/gross. So my EBF not quite six month old has always been a green poop every 4-5 poops kinda guy, with the rest being more of a brown-yellow colour. For the last week he is only pooping green. All shades of green, dark, lime, liquidy, bits that look like spinach you name it. But all green. He’s otherwise completely himself, happy, breastfeeding just fine. Has anyone experienced this? Don’t have an appointment with his doctor until mid March ad not sure if it’s worth a call or not.

Top Comment: My EBF 3 month old mostly has all green poops with the occasional yellow mustard poop only in the morning. Our doctor said as long as baby is gaining weight and doesn't seem to be bothered that it isn't something to worry about at this time. However it's always been this way for my LO. I wonder why all of a sudden the green poops have started with your LO.

Green poop

Main Post:

Hi everyone

my daughter (4.5 months old, ebf) has started pooping green about 10 days ago. At first I thought it was due to teething as I found some info about it online. She also started pooping way more frequently, up to 10 times a day, sometimes foul smelling, while normally she would have one per day, if that. After 3 days she had a fever, so we went to the doc. She said it was fine as long as shes drinking and not vomiting.

Since then (Monday last week) the frequency went down to about 4 or 5 times, but the colour is still off, sometimes slightly green, sometimes very green, no or only very faint smell. She is very happy and content all of the time, so I am not too worried, but I will go back to the doc next Monday if its still green.

I just wanted to ask if anyone experienced the same. Is it going to stay green forever? How long is too long? Should I go in this week still?

Thanks :)

LO's poo changed color all the time. Sometimes it was green sometimes it was fairly yellow. The doc told me that pretty much anything except blood in the stool was in the realm of normal and not to worry about. If you're concerned by all means go see the doc, but I would put green poo in the "don't worry about it" column if baby is otherwise fine.

Green poo from a breast fed 3 month old

Main Post:

Hi.

My daughter turns 3 months old on the 24th and has been doing green poos for the last few days. She is not ill or with a temperature but has been a lot more dribbly lately and her cheeks a bit redder.

Is this normal? We think sheay be starting the teething process. She is eating pretty well and putting on weight (12 and a half pounds)

Top Comment:

This does not sound like an allergy at all. I’m an allergy nurse. She would have blood in her stool and possibly rashes and hives.

This sounds like a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance. Foremilk is the watery carb filled portion of breast milk that comes first. It then transitions into hindmilk which is high in fat and comes at the end of the feeding. When a baby gets too much foremilk they get green poops and gas and tend to seem hungrier and fussy. This is usually an issue seen in mothers with oversupply or when baby is switched to the other breast too soon during a feeding.

You can combat this by making sure baby stays on one breast until it’s completely drained and feels soft before offering the other side.
